B Company

Welcome to the 222nd Army battalion, B-company. This is where the Army rakes together all the insubordinates, hellraisers and troublemakers that won’t fit in any other unit. When the Rangers and Deltas are too expensive to waste, these guys are the first ones in.

They’re called “Bad Company”; a mismatched bunch of rejects selected to serve their country as cannon fodder. This isn’t the kind of outfit a lot of soldiers would join voluntarily. Getting transferred to “the B” is a punishment and a way for the generals to put all their rotten eggs in one basket.

No one starts out in Bad Company. But for some, this is where they end up.

Not gonna win game of the year, but... (2008-11-11)
Still, this is a solid FPS. Its a lot of fun, and you'll solve it in about a day on easy. For those of us who are gun nuts, there is a huge and detailed selection of weaponry to choose from and collect, and the humor of the characters is, in my opinion, some of the funniest dialogue I've heard in a game. It's more or less realistic, although you can't destroy everything around you like in Mercs 2, but it offers a good enough reward system for playing it through. I'd rent it, or buy it when it goes a little lower in price.

worth buying (2008-11-10)
Great visuals, funny light hearted squad members troughout the game with a interesting story to the end.Controls are what they should be and the team members AI is some of the best i've seen so far.Enamy Ai isnt the best but on the hardest seting I found it quite chalanging.Beating the game on harder settings dont unlock the lower achivements,I guess to add replay value.I personally didnt like that idea.Great game overall.

This is an amazing game! (2008-11-05)
I haven't beat the game yet but have been playing for several days. This game really is a lot of fun. The graphics are extremely well done, the game play allows for a lot of freedom to do what you want. I love the fact that you can actually blow holes in walls which is handy when you are to lazy to find the door! The game has boats, tanks, trucks, helicopters and many other vehicles that you are allowed to drive, it has many guns from mini guns to missile launchers, laser guided missiles, etc. Overall the game play is well done. I love the joking comments the characters make to each-other as it really gives the game a great personality.

I definitely recommend playing this game.

Great FPS Game (2008-10-29)
I really enjoyed this game. It had a great dimension to it. I really liked how objects were destructible. The campaign was really fun and provided hours of enjoyable game play. The multi-player was fun as well, I wish it had the kill-cam like call of duty 4 though. That is very nice to have, but it was still fun.

Failed execution. (2008-10-20)
Simply enough, this game is dull, repetitive, derivative, and frustrating to play. The most painful part is that the A.I. is horribly flawed. They're extremely stupid but have superhuman accuracy and are impossible to sneak up on unless you are about a mile away with a sniper rifle. The story was unsatisfying at best, with the hint of a sequel, because Lord knows we need a Bad Company 2, 3, and 4. The intent and potential for a great game was there. But the road to hell is paved with good intentions, and somehow DICE really screwed the pooch on this one.

Don't buy this.
